Completed Hayley Bouquet

Finally finished the bouquet for Hayley.

There are six coq feather sprays, 122 Swarovski crystals, six crystal buttons, 4m of ribbon and six organza flowers with 160 petals in each totalling 960 hand curled petals in the bouquet!

The bouquet was requested by the bride who chose the colours of the ribbon, organza, crystals, buttons and feathers and we worked out a design together to compliment the colour theme of her wedding.

I hope you like the finished result....

Stems and buttons ready

All six flowers now have their stems attached, which have not only been handstitched on, but glued (to make double sure they're not going anyway!).
The buttons have also been attached to wires, ready to put into the bouquet.
The feathers have been sent with diamante detailing instead of plain so now have to check with the bride, which one she wants to use.
In the meantime, 100 Swarovski crystals have so be attatched to several monofilament strands.....here goes sticky fingers and patience!

Time for a little sparkle!

The Swarovski crystals have arrived and it is time to add a little sparkle to centre of each flower.

Liquid Resin

Just been a bit busy playing with liquid resin.

Thought I'd try making some flowers to put in my latest design of a bridal bouquet made of beads, crystals and buttons.

Got the flower right, now just have to get the strengthener right as the first session turned the beautiful pearl flower, yellow!

Once this technique is in check, I will post photos of the flowers for you to comment on.

Hope to do this in next couple of days.
