I'm back!!

Back after a few fantastic days away with my family in a very sunny Norfolk!

Swimming in the sea, fair rides, crazy golf, building sandcastles and looking for dinosaurs at Dino world! (my three year old loved it!!!)

Just putting together the Hayley bouquet now and doing the finishing touches.

Will take some photos and reveal on the next blog.

Straighten out!

Having spent the last few days putting 100 Swarovski crystals along monofilament, I now have to leave them a few days stuck to a straightening board to try and straighten them a bit. (the monofilament has a tendency to curl!)
Going to spend a few days with my children now xx

Stems and buttons ready

All six flowers now have their stems attached, which have not only been handstitched on, but glued (to make double sure they're not going anyway!).
The buttons have also been attached to wires, ready to put into the bouquet.
The feathers have been sent with diamante detailing instead of plain so now have to check with the bride, which one she wants to use.
In the meantime, 100 Swarovski crystals have so be attatched to several monofilament strands.....here goes sticky fingers and patience!

A little time away

Just had a fab time away for the weekend with my family.

On a rare weekend together, managed to get away with sunshine as an added bonus!

Still managed to find a bead shop and buy some things for Hayley's bouquet....more on that to follow this week.

Found a fab new thing that I just had to try and to show you the results...Paper pom poms!

Used to decorate tables, hang from the ceiling, place on the end of church pews...the possibilities are endless and they are sooooo much fun!

Will be adding them to my webshop real soon!

Stem

Time to add the stems to the flowers.  A spiral shape top will be hand stitched to the centre (underside) of the flower and then covered with felt.

Crystal buttons will also have to be put onto non tarnish wire to use within the bouquet.

One stem down, another five to go!
